Everyday Bookers is open, from opening time till 11 am only retailers such as local shops, convenience stores, and customers offering a catering service such as nursing homes, hospitals and takeaways are the only customer groups that have access to their branches. After 11 am the rest can enter the branches. All of this applies to both Bookers Wholesale and Makro.

Apart from that, only two people are admitted to the branch on one customer card. One of those customers has to be the person in whose name the card is made. Without them, you will not be allowed to enter. Identification will also be needed to confirm it is the person who holds the card.

There are also restrictions on quantities that one can buy. They have restricted buying quantities of products such as paper, cleaning products, milk, bread, and anti-bacterial products.

The butchery cutting service has also been suspended. Their butchery departments remain open.

Delivery options

During Coronavirus pandemic, Bookers Wholesale has suspended its deliveries for any new customers. They are only operating for the customers they already have. The delivery service is available to them and there may be delays due to the situation.

The deliveries are contact-less and all deliveries are dropped at the door. They have also suspended returns so you can’t return anything that has been delivered.

The accounts have also been suspended of those customers that haven’t made use of it since the past twelve months. This has been done so the focus can be on regular customers and so their needs can be met first.

Bookers is also taking all precautions to ensure the safety of their employees and the customers that visit so everyone can have a safe and risk-free experience.

During Coronavirus pandemic, Bookers is not taking in any new customers due to the limited supply and high demand. They are only catering to their existing customers who either have a Bookers or Makro card with them. The timings also vary from area to area so do remember to call them beforehand or check on their website to see the variations in timings of your area.
